Title: The Study of Mao Poetry in the History of Literary Criticism——A Co-argument on the Function of the Perception of “Each View Having Its Basis” in Theoretical Development
Abstract: The study of Mao poetry contributed mainly to the study of Confucian classics. Thus its theoretical documents received special concern and proper interpretation in the history of literary criticism. In contrast to the pre-Qin poetics, the poetics of the Mao school showed a clear transition in theoretical vision. However, because of lack of a self-conscious sense of criticism to formerly existent knowledge in the transition of its theoretical vision, the poetics of the Mao school was characteristic of wilderness and mixture. Just because of this characteristic of its theory, it played a peculiar role of “Chen she's Uprising anticipating the rise of the Han Dynasty”.
