Title: Research on Extracting Flavone from Ginkgo biloba Leaves by Microwave-Alkali Water Extraction
Abstract: [Objective] The purpose of the research was to provide scientific basis for the extraction of flavone from Ginkgo biloba leaves.[Method] Under the help of microwave effect, the flavone was extracted with calcium hydrate solution from G.biloba leaves and the optimum technological condition was confirmed. [Result] In the microwave time from 0.5 min to 2.0 min,the extraction rate of flavone increased as the microwave time increased. When the water content in G.biloba leaves was between 10 and 20 ml,the extraction rate of flavone increased as the water content increased. The extraction rate of flavone increased as the liquid-to-solid ratio increased and it was basically constant when the liquid-tosolid ratio was between 16∶1 and 25∶1.When the temperature was between 90 and 95 ℃,the extraction rate of flavone increased significantly as the temperature increased. In the extraction time from 30 min to 50 min,the extraction rate of flavone increased as the extraction time extended. The influences of all the factors on the extraction rate of flavone were as follows: extraction temperature microwave time water content pH value extraction time liquor-to-solid ratio.[Conclusion] The optimum technological condition of extracting flavone from G.biloba leaves by microwave-alkali water extraction was as follows: 5 g G.biloba leaves, microwave power of 100%,microwave time of 2.5 min, water content of 25 ml,liquor-to-solid ratio of 12∶1,extraction temperature at 95 ℃,extraction for 2 times and 60 min for each time,pH value of 9.Under this condition, the extraction rate of flavone reached 93.6%.
