Title: Study on the Temporal Spatial Migration Trends and Characteristics of Provincial Economic Development and Ecological Environment:Based on Provincial Panel Data in China
Abstract: 【Objective】Based on provincial level, the paper is studied in two dimensions:economic development and environmental development.【Method】Using the measurement principle of physical gravity center and provincial spatial weight matrix, the national economic center and environment center in 2007-2012 were measured respectively.【Results】The study found that:1In the regional development imbalance, since 2007,the non-equilibrium of ecological environment is more obvious than the non-equilibrium of regional economy development, and the economic difference between North and South is larger than the difference between East and West.2 According to the evolution of spatial pattern, since 2007,the economic center has been gradually migrated westward, the economic developing speed of the West is faster than the East, while the environmental center gradually migrated to the south, the environment level of the southern area has greatly improved.3 From the spatial correlation, the spatial correlation of the provincial economic development is not as significant as the GDP measurement, while the space-correlation in provincial ecological environment level is significant.【Conclusion】In order to promote the coordi-nated development of regional economy and environment, the developed coastal areas should make use of the economic achievements which were accumulated earlier to increase investment in the development of ecological environment, promote the concentration of capital, technology and talent, and get the ecological spillover effect. The underdeveloped central and western regions can learn from the experience of developed area,to absorb the advanced management system of developed areas, and introduce projects which have strong technical spillover effects or strong industry correlations to optimize the regional industrial structure, and to promote the comprehensive level of regional development by improving the environmental infrastructure and ecological environment level as soft power.
