Abstract:The musical activities of Yuefu (official conservatory set up in the Han Dynasty for the collection of folk songs and ballads) in the Han Dynasty played an important role in the creation of singing\|...The musical activities of Yuefu (official conservatory set up in the Han Dynasty for the collection of folk songs and ballads) in the Han Dynasty played an important role in the creation of singing\|poems.Folk songs were collected by the official conservatory in order to preserve the folk\|singing poems.Scholars were admitted into the music\|composing activities,which contributed to the writing of and fu (special form of rhapsodic poem,chiefly in parallel constructions).Meanwhile,the music from foreign lands was absorbed and re\|composed by Yuefu,which enriched the categories of music of Huayue.The two main ways of composing music by choosing poems and composing pomes by tunes in the ancient Chinese musical literature were based on the concerted way of music and language.The way of concertion between Huyue and the Chinese language is of great value to the introspection of the thesis of Ci conceived from 'Huyue'.Read More
