Title: Optimized Coordination of 220 kV Circuit Breaker's Operating Circuit and Its Protective Operation Box
Abstract: A breaker mechanism has its own control circuit, which often conflicts with the protective operation box in function. If the control circuit cannot coordinate with the box, the safe and stable operation of power grid and circuit breakers will be affected. In this paper, the characteristics of anti-tripping circuit, low-pressure locking of tripping and closing, and non-whole-phase protection circuit are analyzed and summarized. Some methods for their coordination are proposed, such as connecting a contact of Local/Remote switch handle ZK in the ant-tripping circuit in mechanism box; the functions of low-pressure locking tripping, closing and operating being implemented by the breaker body; only first operating power being selected for low-pressure locking of reclosure circuit; and adopting non-whole-phase protection in the breaker body, while taking the electrical quantities based non-wholephase protection as a supplement. These methods may enhance reliable operation of the circuit breaker to ensure the safe and stable operation of the power system.
