Title: Clinical Analysis of 46 Non-invasive Fungal Sinusitis
Abstract: Objective To evaluate the clinical manifestation,diagnosis and surgical treatment of non-invasive fungal sinusitis.Method 46 cases diagnosed non-invasive fungal sinusitis were retrospectively analyzed.Results 46 cases were followed up ranged from 1 to 5 years after operation.5 cases of single ethmoid fungal sinusitis or sphenoid fungal sinusitis treated by endoscopy had no recurrence.In the 33 cases of maxillary fungal sinusitis had conceived nasal endoscopic management,2 cases were given the second operation because of recurrence.While 8 cases of maxillary fungal sinusitis conceived endoscopic plus Caldwell-Luc management had no recurrence.Conclusions The endoscopic surgery of non-invasive fungal sinusitis is an effective method.Endoscopic plus Caldwell-Luc surgery can completely remove the fungus in sinus and decrease the recurrence.
