Abstract:Active TiO2 powder was prepared by hydrothermal method with Ti(SO4)2 as raw material.The morphology and crystal shape of the sample were analyzed by SEM and XRD.The photocatalytic degradation effect o...Active TiO2 powder was prepared by hydrothermal method with Ti(SO4)2 as raw material.The morphology and crystal shape of the sample were analyzed by SEM and XRD.The photocatalytic degradation effect of as-prepared TiO2 on malachite green solution was studied.The results show that the as-prepared TiO2 is anatase TiO2,that is,A-TiO2.The degradation rate reached to 84.00% when the as-prepared TiO2 doped with 8% Fe3+ was used to degrade malachite green solution under optimized conditions.Under the same conditions,the degradation rates of malachite green were 15.30%,45.10%,63.30% and 40.70% respectively,with A-TiO2 doped with 0%,2%,5% and 10% Fe3+ as catalysts.Read More
