Title: NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF TRANSFER AND REACTION PROCESSES IN ETHYLENE PYROLYZER III.Numerical Simulation of Combustion and Heat Transfer Processes in Furnaces
Abstract: To accurately describe the fuel combustion and radiative heat transfer processes in furnaces is very crucial in comprehensive numerical simulation of ethylene pyrolyzer.Numerical simulation of the flow,combustion and heat transfer in industrial furnace was carried out by employing the developed furnaces model.Some detailed information about the flow field,concentration distribution and temperature field in furnaces was obtained,presenting the basic characteristics of the flow,combustion and heat transfer processes.Results showed that non-uniform distribution of the flow,combustion and heat transfer existed in furnaces,thus resulted in the non-uniform distribution of heat flux of reactor tubes.
