The aim is to better understand their somatotype features and provide basis for reasonable athlete selection and scientific training. The results showed that the somatotype of Chinese male taekwondo athletes was featured by well proportioned stature, well developed muscles and skeletons, and low subcutaneous fat. With the rising of body weight, the somatotype of male athletes transforms from derio mesomorph to mesomorph. Compared with athletes of other sports in and out of China, taekwondo male athletes' somatotype shows some remarkable characteristics.Read More
