Title: Application of contrast enhanced ultrasound guided percutaneous biopsy in peripheral pulmonary lesions
Abstract: Objective To investigate the application value of contrast enhanced ultrasound(CEUS) guided percutaneous biopsy in patients with various peripheral pulmonary lesions. Methods Totally 53 patients with various peripheral pulmonary lesions were divided into research group(n=31) and control group(n=22).Biopsy was performed under guidance of CUES in research group, while under guidance of conventional ultrasound in control group. The diagnostic positive rate of pathological results and occurrance rate of complications were compared between the two groups. Results In research group and control group, the average number of puncture was 1.19 and 1.86,respectively(P0.05),while the diagnostic positive rate of pathological results was 100%(31/31) and 86.36%(19/22,P0.05),and occurrance rate of complications was 0 and 4.55%(1/22),respectively(P0.05).Conclusion CEUS guided percutaneous biopsy is a safe and reliable method for diagnosing peripheral pulmonary lesions, worthy to be widely popularized.
