Title: Indigo carmine dyeing of modified cotton fabric
Abstract: Cationic cotton fabric is dyed with indigo carmine. The modification and dyeing processes are optimized. The results show that cationic modification is carried out at 40 ℃,heated to 80 ℃ and treating 10 minutes with cationic modifier for 7%(omf),and salt-free dyeing is undergone at 40 ℃ with indigo carmine 1%(omf),bath ratio 1∶50,heated to 50 ℃ and dyeing 40 minutes.Hue of the dyed cotton fabric is close to that of vat indigo dyeing, and color fastness reaches wearability requirements after fixing agent treatment.
