Title: Study on Impact Factors of Disinfection By-products Formation
Abstract: The samples containing humic acid and 1,2-benzenediol were prepared to conduct chlorination test in order to analyze the impacts of some factors including pH,chlorine time, temperature and chlorine dosage on the formation of disinfection by-products.The research results indicated that with the increase of pH,trihalomethanes(THMs) formation increased but haloacetic acids(HAAs) formation decreased gradually.THMs and HAAs formation increased with chlorine time. The formation ability of THMs and HAAs were both greater at higher temperature than at low temperature. It showed a positive correlation between chlorine dosage and THMs and HAAs formation in the certain extent.
