Title: Design of virtual signal analyzer based on PCM2906B
Abstract: A high cost-performance virtual signal analyzer was developed because the current price of virtual instruments available in the market is too high.Based on the hardware of 16-bit stereo audio codec PCM2906B and the software of C#,its overall structure is made up of two parts:PC and virtual instrument card.These two parts communicates via USB interface.The signal acquisition and output are completed by the virtual instrument card.The signal processing is executed by general PC software,which is developed in object-oriented C# language.The virtual signal analyzer can reduce the costs dramatically and realize many functions which are usually realized by signal generator,oscilloscope,recorder,spectrum analyzer,time-frequency analyzer and so on.The instrument has many functions,low power consumption,low cost,high cost performance.It can be promoted and applicated in teaching and experiments.
