Title: STUDY ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SEDIMENTARY MICROFACIES AND OIL COLLECTING OF THE 2~(nd) MEMBER OF KONGDIAN FORMATION IN FAULT-BLOCK Nü12-Nü20,SHENSI OILFEILD,HEBEI
Abstract: Shenusi oilfield is located in the city of Cangzhou,Hebei Province and its structure location is between the Cangdong and Nanpi Depressions, which is closed to the Cangxian Uplift in west, joined the Kongdian Formation belt with a saddle in east. The 2 nd Member of the Kongdian Formation is typically a layered complex fault-block reservoir, which changes largely in transverse orientation. This paper mainly studies the relationship between sedimentary microfacies and oil collecting. The studying area represents a fault basin that experienced fast fill in the Early Tertiary,as recorded in the riverdelta sedimentary system of the Kongdian Formation.According to drill core observation, laboratory analysis and well log information, several sedimentary microfacies have been recognized the study area and these include:under-water distributary channel,river-mouth bar,and retrograding bank-bar.The characteristics of each sedimentary microfacies are described on the basis of its profile structure, sandbody geometric shape, and sedimentary structures. The results indicate that sedimentary microfacies control not only the distribution of reservoir beds, but also the degree of oil collecting. The reservoir thickness is the biggest in the central part of underwater distributary channels, incicating that sedimentary microfacies controls the oil layer distribution.
