Title: Study on the Dyeing Performance of Stretched Wool
Abstract: By making a comparison between the dyeing process of stretched wool and ordinary wool, this paper focused on the dyeing behavior of stretched wool. The results showed that in the earlier stage of dyeing, at the same dyeing condition, the stretched wool had faster dyeing rate, lower dyeing temperature, and its dyeing period was shorter than the ordinary wool. The stretched wool could be dyed at low temperature and attain the requirement of dye-uptake and color fastness. By reducing heat-up rate, the level dyeing in stretched wool could be obtained, which was affected by the fibers' quality difference in the stretched wool.
