Abstract:Water and fertilizer are main factors influencing crop growth,yield and ecological environment.A pot experiment was carried out to study the effects of various water and fertilizer controlling measure...Water and fertilizer are main factors influencing crop growth,yield and ecological environment.A pot experiment was carried out to study the effects of various water and fertilizer controlling measures on growth,root distribution and N,P and K contents in the plants of maize.The results showed that compared with conventional irrigation and fertilization,subsurface fertigation could significantly promote total root length and root surface for the root layer below 10 cm.There were no significant difference in phosphorus content of maize between three treatments while nitrogen and potassium of subsurface fertigation and surface fertigation were significantly higher than that in conventional irrigation and fertilization.Compared with conventional fertilization and irrigation,subsurface fertigation and surface fertigation in three sampling stage could significantly increase the biomass of maize by 59.0%~75.3%,30.0%~32.5% and 13.6%~16.5% respectively.Read More
