Title: Laparoscopic subfascial endoscopic perforator surgery combined endovenous laser for treatment of valves insufficiency of the lower limbs venous perforators
Abstract: Objective:To evaluate the feasibility of laparoscopic subfascial endoscopic perforator surgery(SEPS) combined with endovenous laser treatment(EVLT) for valves insufficiency of the lower limbs venous perforators. Methods:Varicose vein of lower limb and venous perforators' valves insufficiency in 82 sick limbs were diagnosed by color Doppler ultrasound.62 randomly selected limbs which accepted SEPS and great saphenous vein EVLT were in laparoscopic treatment group. In the same time,20 sick limbs in the control group accepted the traditional great saphenous vein phlebectomy. Results:In laparoscopic treatment group, the varicose veins and venous blood stasis in lower extremity disappeared, with lightened pigmentation and healed ulcer. The symptoms did not recrudesced in the follow up of 6-12 months.Compared with the control group, the sewed incisions decreased 4.8 and hospital stay decreased 6.8d averagely(P0.01).Conclusions:With micro-trauma and rapid recovery,SEPS combined with EVLT is appropriate for mini-invasive treatment of varicose vein in lower limb and perforators' venous valves insufficiency.
