Title: Study on the distribution pattern of precipitation in Quercus acutissima forest of Purple Mountain
Abstract: The relationships between the canopy interception and the stemflow of Quercus acutissima forests and precipitation were studied in Purple Mountain. The results showed that in the total precipitation of 823.8 mm from 46 times observation, the canopy interception, the stemflow, and the throughfall of the forest was 207.95 mm,33.30 mm,and 582.55 mm,which accounted for 25.24%,4.04%,and 70.71% of the total precipitation, respectively. With the increase of precipitation, the canopy interception, the stemflow, the throughfall and the throughfall rate were increased gradually, while the canopy interception rate was decreased in a lower speed.the stemflow rate was increased when the precipitation was less than 50 mm.The canopy interception was a power-function relation with the precipitation amount, while the stemflow and the throughfall was linear correlation with the precipitation amount.
