Title: Determination of 26 pesticide residues in vegetables by gas chromatography
Abstract: Objective:A solid-phase extraction and capillary gas chromatographic method has been developed for determining 26 organophosphorus,organochlorine and pyrethroid pesticide residues in vegetables.Methods:Extraction and sample cleanup of pesticide residus according to the state standard measurements NY/T761-2004,then,the extract was separated by two kinds of columns and detected by FPD and ECD.Results:The method could separate 14 organophosphorus pesticides and 12 organochlorine and pyrethroid pesticides in 16 min and 17 min respectively.The average recoveries for spiked standards(n=3) were between 85.85% and 108.51%.Precision(expressed as relative standard deviation) was lower than 4.79% and the range of limit of detection(LOD) was between 0.06 and 2 ppb.Conclusion:This procedure for testing vegetable contamination is sensitive and easy to perform.
