Title: Analysis to Contour Error of CNC Machine Tool Feed Motion Based on Feedforward Control
Abstract: Contouring motion control is one of the important topics in motion control research,which has been widely applied in motion control tasks in CNC machine tool and other automation systems.Contour Error of linear and circular motion is caused by following error of each axis position servo system.It has been verified that position feedforward control which has been universally applied in CNC axis motion control can reduce the following error effectively.In this paper,it is investigated that how gain and bandwidth of feedforward controller influence the contour precision in two axis movement,especially for circular movement.Conclusions are meaningful for reasonable control parameters selection and precision improvement of contour motion.
