Title: Characteristic of gravitational-magnetic field and division of tectonic unites in Chaidamu Basin
Abstract: Through the analysis on the geophysical parameters and gravitational magnetic characteristics of different geologic bodies in the eastern Chaidamu basin, the basement structure of the basin, features of lithofacies, depth of magnetic bodies, the property of fault and its controlling role on the basin formation, the influence of uplift subsidence pattern of sedimentary cover are inferred and interpreted, the division of tectonic units of the basement and the sedimentary cover of the basin is made in this paper. The author suggests to look for the slope zone which is favourable for uranium ore formation. The slope zone is an area where tectonic activity is relatively stable, the basement is shallowly buried, and the sedimentary cover is relatively thin.
