Title: Study on the Correlation between Lactation Month,the Portion of Milk Components and Bovine Milk Somatic Cell Count
Abstract: Total 62 records of Dairy herd improvement of culled lactating cows of eight months in 2003 in 5th dairy farm of Xi'an CaoTan were collected to analyze the relationship between lactation month,the portion of milk components and bovine milk somatic cell count(SCC) in this paper.The results showed that the SCC was significantly negatively related with daily milk yields(P0.01),the daily milk yields was significantly negatively related with milk protein percentages and milk fat percentages(P0.01),and SCC have no significantly related with milk protein percentages and milk fat percentages(P0.05).The correlation between the milk protein percentages and milk fat percentages was positively significant(P0.01).The mean value of milk SCC were the higher in May,July and October,which were 789×103 mL-1,696×103 mL-1 and 1 031×103 mL-1,respectively.The mean value of milk SCC was 390×103 mL-1 which was the lowest in March.
