Title: The Clinical Value of Determination of Plasma Endothelin,Serum Malonaialdehyde,Superoxide Dismutase in Patients with Cerebrai Infarction and the Protective Effects of Danhong Injection
Abstract: Objective To investigate the effection of Danhong injection on determination of plasma endothelin(ET),serum malondialdehyde(MDA),superoxide dismutase(SOD),and the clinical therapeutic efficacy in acute cerebral infarction. Methods Ninety-six patients with acute brain infarction were randomly allocated to two groups,forty-eight cases in each group.Besides the routine treatment, the patients of treatment group were treated with Danhong injection and patients of control group were treated with Dansen injection respectively for 14 days.Plasma ET,serum MDA,SOD and the neurological functional scores were measured before and after the treatment.Data were compared between the two groups and also compared with those measured in 46 healthy subjects for control. Results The levels of ET and MDA were higher significantly in acute cerebral infarction patients than those in healthy subjects(P0.01),and the level of SOD was lower(P0.01).After the treatment, the levels of ET and MDA decreased and the activity of SOD rose in the treatment group(P0.05),which had a significant difference from the control group(P0.05).Improvement of neural function injure in the treatment group were superior to that in the control group(P0.05).Conclusion Danhong injection can significantly reduce the level of ET and attenuate markedly lipid peroxide reaction, correct the imbalance of the antioxidant enzymes, improve the nerve function.
