Title: The expression and clinical significance of P53,P21 and P185 in gastric cancer
Abstract: Objective To study the relationship between the expression of P53,P21,P185 in gastric cancer and the biological activity of gastric cancer. Methods Expression of tumor supressor gene P53 and oncogene ras,c-erbB-2 were detected by immunohistochemical Sp methods in 62 cases of gastric cancer. Results Expression rate of P53,P21,P185 in gastric cancer were 46.8%,45.2%,41.9% respectively. The expression rate of P53 in poorly differentiated gastric cancer was higher than that in highly and moderate differentiated gastric cancer(P0.05).The expression rate of P185 in the cases with muscularis or serosal invasion was higher than that localized in mucosa and submucosa(P0.05).The expression rate of P185 in the cases with lymph-node metastases was higher than that without lymph-node metastases(P0.05).Conclusion The cooperative effects of P53,ras and c-erbB-2 genes involve in carcinogenesis of gastric mucosa and are related to biological activity of gastric cancer.
