Abstract:OBJECTIVE To establish a high performance liquid chromatographic method with diode array detection(HPLC-DAD) for simultaneous determination of five active constituents in Cornus officinalis from four ...OBJECTIVE To establish a high performance liquid chromatographic method with diode array detection(HPLC-DAD) for simultaneous determination of five active constituents in Cornus officinalis from four main place of product.METHODS Five constituents were analyzed simultaneously with a Zorbax C18 column by gradient elution using 0.1% phosphoric acid water-solution-0.1% phosphoric acid acetonitrilesolution as the mobile phase.The column was maintained at 30 ℃.The flow rate was 1 mL·min-1.The detection wavelength was set at 218,240 and 284 nm.RESULTS All the constituents showed good linearity(r0.999 6) in the range of the tested concentration,the average recoveries of the method were between 98.16% and 102.53%.CONCLUSION The validated method has the advantages of simplicity,precision and reliability,allowing its intrinsic quality control of Cornus officinalis.Read More
