Title: Analysis of Concrete Box Girder Section Shear- lag Effect and Eccentric Load Effect
Abstract: A box girder is a spatial structure which is about to vary in its space when bearing stress due to non- uniform distribution of positive stress onto the section that caused by the existence of Shear- lag Effect and Eccentric Load Effect, which does not comply with the common used assumption of primary girder thus requires particular consideration of its effect. In order to summarize the characteristics and rules of these two effects, entity finite element has been used to establish the full bridge model, and the distribution of positive stress onto continuous girder bridge section under concentrated load and eccentric load conditions has been calculated, based on which this text analyzes the above mentioned two effects, taking into account the effect of width- span ratio of key parameters. On this basis, this text also gives suggestions for the insecurity factors that exist in design and the calculation method.
