Title: Application of high pressure circumvolved grouting to intake cofferdam seepage prevention in Jinping hydropower station
Abstract: Plastic concrete cut-off walls were adopted in intake longitudinal cofferdam seepage prevention of Jinping second stage hydropower station.It is found that the actual construction depth of cut-off walls is far superior to the projected depth,which means increasing construction cost and delaying construction period.In order to solve the problem,some deep channel sections are revised into suspended plastic concrete cut-off walls during construction.Because the goal of cutting infiltration had not been attained,the steel tube was embedded in plastic concrete cut-off walls.High pressure circumvolved grouting has been carried out under plastic concrete cut-off walls.High-pressure jet-grouting watertight wall has been formed to achieve the anti-seepage effects,so the investment was decreased and construction period was cut down.
