Abstract: Good faith is the deep moral consciousness formed during the development of the Chinese nation. The immanent features of the traditional morality, China's economic show its historical limitations in regulating our economy, political and cultural life. We should reinterpret good faith based on the reality of the modern society. To re-establish a society with high good faith, we should fully explore and utilize the spiritual value of the traditional morality and good faith. The matter-of-fact attitude and the keeping-word virtue are still the moral pursuit for Chinese citizens in the market economy era.
