Abstract:Objective To observe the antipyretic effect of Tibetan medicine Ma Nu Xi Tang granules.Methods Two fever animal models induced by dry yeast and 2,4-dinitrobenophol in rats were established,body temper...Objective To observe the antipyretic effect of Tibetan medicine Ma Nu Xi Tang granules.Methods Two fever animal models induced by dry yeast and 2,4-dinitrobenophol in rats were established,body temperature of rats within four hours was measured after administrated with the Ma Nu Xi Tang granules in high,middle and low doses,including aspirin as positive control.Results Compared with the dry yeast model group,the rats' body temperatures of Tibetan medicine Ma Nu Xi Tang granules high and middle group decreased significantly after two to four hours(P 0.05),and those of the aspirin positive control group decreased significantly after one to four hours(P0.05).Compared with 2,4-dinitrophenol model group,the rats' body temperatures of Tibetan medicine Ma Nu Xi Tang granules high,middle and low group had a significant decline after two hours(P0.05),and that in aspirin positive control group was no significant difference after one to four hours(P0.05).Conclusion Tibetan medicine Ma Nu Xi Tang granules had antipyretic effect on fever test which induced by dry yeast and 2,4-dinitrophenol.Read More
