Title: Determination of the best image quality parameters in 64-detector CT coronary artery angiography with phantom experiment
Abstract: Objectives To improve the image quality of 64-detector CT coronary artery angiography, and the value in evaluating the lesions of coronary artery through coronary artery phantom experiment. Methods The image quality of 64-detector CT coronary artery angiography with different heart rate, reconstruction algorithm and different phase were evaluated. Results The best image quality was got during heart rate less than 70 beats/min, fluctuation less than 10 beats/min,and at 75% R-R interval. The reconstruction rates with segment, burst and plus algorithm were 93.5%,91.6% and 93.4%, respectively, and no statistical difference amount groups was found(χ2=4.163,P=0.125). The best image quality rates reached 81.8%,79.2% and 84.1%,respectively, and were no difference between burst and plus algorithm(P=0.004). Conclusions Heart rate, reconstruction algorithm, reconstruction phase time are the main parameters affecting image quality of multi-detector CT coronary artery angiography, high-grade image can be gotten by regulating the parameters.
