Title: Effects of Water and Nitrogen Coupling on Growth of Winter Wheat
Abstract: Water and nitrogen supply in different stages can affect the growth of winter wheat directly, this experiment is designed to find the best proportion of water and nitrogen supply to winter wheat. The growth is studied in both field and pot through controlling the amount of water and nitrogen, and the differences of height, leaf chlorophyll contents and dry matter between different water and nitrogen treatments can get through variance analysis. The result shows that height increases with irrigation water content increases, while decreases with the nitrogen content when the total nitrogen in the soil is more than 0.87 g/kg.Comparatively,the leaf chlorophyll contents in different treatments are the same basically, but the leaf chlorophyll contents in different growth stages increase firstly then decrease after jointing stage. The growth rate of accumulation of dry matter shows slow-fast-slow trend and the accumulation in high water and high nitrogen treatment is higher than that in low water and low nitrogen treatment.Considering comprehensive and economic factors, the nitrogen content is recommended to select 120 kg/hm2 in the field and 0.2 g/kg in the pot.
