Title: A New Method Based on Boundary Processing for Image Restoration
Abstract: Image restoration attempts to reconstruct or recover an image that has been degraded by using a priori knowledge of the degradation phenomenon.Wiener Filter is often used to recover the degraded image. The principle of the method expects to minimize the mean square error between the recovered image and original image. However, this method has some constrains, and it generates ringing effects easily.Based on the analysis of Wiener Filter,we propose a new method to process the boundary of the recovered image more efficiently.Experimental results indicate that the new method effectively reduces the ringing effects during the process of the image restoration, and gains the better quality of the recovered image than the old method.
