Title: STUDY ON ANATOMY AND HISTOLOGY OF STOMACH IN RED PANDA

The wall of the stomach consists of tunica mucosa, tela submucosa, tunica muscularis and serosa. The simple columnar epithelium of the stomach can secrete mucus. There are cardiac gland, which is poor, fundic gland and pyloric gland in the gastric glands. The distribution and quantity of the chief cells, parietal cells and mucous cells change regularly. The tunica muscularis, particularly the inner circular layer, is plentiful. The stomach of the red panda has been compared with that of the giant panda.
