Title: Reservoir features and controlling factors of Yageliemu Formation in Yakela,Tarim Basin,China
Abstract: The Lower Cretaceous Yageliemu Formation is a set of debris-feldspar and feldspar-debris sandstone in Yakela of Tarim Basin.Based on the flake observation and physical properties data of the reservoir in Yageliemu Formation, this study indicates that the main reservoir spaces are enlarged intergranular dissolved pore, intergranular dissolved pore, and primary intergranular pore and that the reservoir is a type with low porosity and medium permeability. The reservoir of Yageliemu Formation shows strong internal heterogeneity, interlayer heterogeneity and plane heterogeneity. The reservoir's development is influenced by sedimentary micro-facies,diagenesis and clay matrix, and the sedimentary micro-facies are the basis of its development and the diagenesis controls the reservoir's ability.Cementation and compaction are the major diagenesis for destroying pores, and dissolution is the major diagenesis for forming secondary pores. The amount of matrix has also significant effect on the reservoir's porosity and permeability.
