Title: Expression and significance of Rad51 and Chk1 in carcinogenesis of sporadic colorectal adenoma
Abstract: Objective To investigate Rad51 and Chk1 expression and significance in sporadic colorectal adenoma. Methods The expression of Rad51 and Chk1 was detected by immunohistochemistry in 71 colorectal mucosa,66 sporadic colorectal adenoma with dysplasia and 98 canceration of colorectal adenoma, and to analyze its relationship with clinical pathological features of colorectal cancer. Results ① In the colorectal mucosa, adenoma and carcinoma group, the expression level of Rad51 and Chk1 increased gradually( P 0. 05). ② In the adenoma carcinoma group, the expression of Rad51 is associated with tumor differentiation, lymph node metastasis( P 0. 05),the expression of Chk1 is associated with tumor differentiation( P 0. 05). ③ In the adenoma group,Rad51 and Chk1 positive expression of adenoma with heavy dysplasia is higher than with mild dysplasia( P 0. 05). Conclusion Chk1 and Rad51 play an important role in the process of large adenomas canceration.
