Abstract: The scientific and technological journals are media for academic exchange and dissemination of the latest knowledge about the related fields. To improve journals' quali-ty, self-ssessment is of paramount importance and objective reflection is thought to be essential to the evaluation of journals. Since there are numerous journals of different specialities, judgement should be made according to their objectives, contents and formats.
