Title: Performance Analysis of the Cone Thin-walled Member under Oblique Impact
Abstract: In this paper,through numerical simulation and calculation with the finite element software LS-DYNA,the collision response of cone thin-walled members and quadrate-tapered thin-walled members under different oblique impact are obtained,and then the deformation pattern,energy absorption characteristics and the maximum impact of these two different thin-walled members are compared. The calculation results show that the crashworthiness of cone thin-walled member is better than that of quadrate-tapered one under the oblique impact.
