Title: The therapeutic effect of the Dyne-35 and pretreatment of metformin on obese polycystic ovary syndrome promoting ovulation
Abstract: Objective To study the effect on obese polycystic ovary syndrome with metformin Dyne-35 and observe clinical effect on ovulation. Methods 40 cases of polycystic ovarian syndrome were enrolled and divided into two groups, experimental group(n = 22) were given Dyne 35 and metformin treated for 3 months, control group(n =18) only treated with metformin for 3 months.Clomiphene and HCG were given then in both groups, effect on endocrine related indicators, before and after ovulation and pregnancy were observed. Results BMI were decreased in experimental group(P 0.05).Except fasting blood glucose, all other indexes included fasting insulin,AUC(blood glucose),and AUC(insulin),and HOMA-IR level were decreased obviously(P 0.05),and there were significant differences between the two group(P 0.05).LH, T and LH/FSH ratio were improved in both groups, but experimental group were better than control group(P 0.05).Experimental group ovulation rate was 68.2%,pregnancy rate was 40.9%,which were better than control group of ovulation rate 50.0%,pregnancy rate 27.8%(P 0.05).Conclusion Dyne-35 combined with metformin can reduce androgen levels in obese polycystic ovary syndrome, improve insulin resistance, ovulation and pregnancy rates.
