Title: From Tradition to Modern: How can New Mode of Fine Arts Education be Possible
Abstract: Late Qing Dynasty and Early ROC is the starting phase and critical period for Chinese culture and its education to transform from the traditional into the modern one. The thesis explores the internal possibility of emergence of new of Chinese arts education from the aspects of fine arts knowledge specialization, specialization of arts and crafts ,realistic the painting style and professionalized artist status . With the combined forces of external needs and internal possibility, the mode of Chinese arts education experienced fundamental changes, thus a new mode of arts education becoming possible.
