Title: Key Layer of Direct Roof and Support Suitability of Fully Mechanized Top Coal Caving Mining Face in Ultra Thick Seam
Abstract: In order to discover the mutual function relationship between the powered support and the surrounding rocks for the fully mechanized top coal caving mining face in the ultra thick seam of Carboniferous System,the site measurement and theoretical analysis combined method was applied.Base on the analysis on the top coal and roof migration law and the mine strata pressure behavior features of the fully mechanized top coal caving mining face in the ultra thick seam of Carboniferous System in Tashan Mine,the direct roof of the fully mechanized top caving mining face in the ultra thick seam was divided into two classes.The paper pointed that the key layer of the direct roof existed would further increase the difficult to control the roof.The paper had an analysis on the suitability of ZF10000/25/38 and ZF13000/25/38 hydraulic powered supports applied to the 8102 fully mechanized top coal caving mining face and the 8103 fully mechanized top coal caving mining face.The results showed that the ZF13000 powered support could be more suitable than ZF10000 to the thick seam caving and mining and the caving and mining height could be increased from 17 m to 20 m.The powered support capacity to prevent the top coal falling and leakage at the face front was improved.The ZF13000 powered support could have the more suitability.
