Title: The Construction of the BSC-TOPSIS-based Teaching Quality Evaluating System at Non-governmental Colleges
Abstract: With over 30 years of development, the non-governmental higher education in China has taken shape. Teaching quality is a lifeline for the survival and growth of non-governmental higher education and the establishment of appropriate teaching quality evaluation index system is an important foundation for ensuring the teaching quality. This paper attempted to build an evaluation system containing four first level indicators——self-assessment, department evaluation, student evaluation and school expert evaluation——from the perspective of the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) evaluation method and TOPSIS algorithm. This evaluation system also includes advantage indicators and disadvantage indicators as the frame of reference. The findings and conclusions in this paper can provide a reference for teaching quality evaluation of non-governmental colleges.
