Title: Application of CT Scan on Diagnosis of Acetabulum Fractures
Abstract: Objective To discuss the clinical significance of three-dimensional (3D)CT reconstruction in the operative treatment of acetabulum fractures.Methods 18 fractures with acetabulum fractures were treated in our department.Their clinical data were studied retrospectively.There were 13 males and 5 females.Their average age was 33 years with a span from 20 to 47 years. They all underwent radiography and CT scan.Their X-ray films and CT scans were both examined to find their fracture type according to the Judet-Letoumal's classification system.Results Among them,7 cases of both column and three wall fracture,4 cases of anterior column and three wall fracture,4 cases of posterior column and three wall fracture,3 cases of simple fracture,two cases of them gristle fracture of femal head.Conclusion 3D CT reconstruction has very special significance in directing the operative treatment of acetabulum fracture.
