Title: Comparative Study of Clubs for Physical Education Teaching in General Colleges and Universities of China
Abstract: The current state of the clubs for physical education teaching in general colleges and universities of China and their results in Anshan Teachers College were analyzed comprehensively by literature consultation, teaching experiment, typical investigation and comparison. It was considered that the successful experiences of the PE teaching clubs consist in 1) attaching much importance to the selection of the students, 2) meeting the needs of the individuality development, 3) mutual supplement of both sides--teachers and students and 4) merging the inside-class and outside-class sport into an organic whole. The necessity, feasibility and strategies for the implementation of PE teaching clubs in PE classes of general colleges and universities were put forward.
