Abstract: The principle of non-refoulement in international refugee law means that no state shall expel or return(refouler) a refugee or asylum-seeker in any manner whatsoever to the frontiers of territories where his life or freedom would be threatened.The principle of non-refoulement does not only apply to the officially recognized refugees but also apply to those who have not been formally recognized as refugees.
