Title: The Effects of Enlargement on the EU Common Policies
Abstract: Intensification and enlargement are always the constant themes of European integration. As two sides of EU development, they have a dialectical relationship between themselves all time, and usually go forward one by one. After the establishment of EEMU,the EU is facing a new round of enlargement at the beginning of a new century.Nowadays, the integration has already been in a deepgoing way,and the contents of common policies have also been largely enriched. The enlargement of EU under such conditions will certainly lead to the reconsideration and reorientation of the existing common policies. This article concerns the challenges brought by the enlargement, which faced by those common policies, such as common financial, agricultural and structural policies.Besides,it also talks about the requirements of reform brought forward to common policies, and analyzes the impacts on progression of EU enlargement.
