Title: The diagnosis of spiral CT in thorax fracture
Abstract: Objective:To evaluate the value of 3D-reconstruction with spiral CT in thorax fractures.Methods:42 patients with thorax fracture were scanned with 3~5mm collimation, reconstruction interval 2~3mm and pitch of 1~1.5.Original data obtained with transaxial images transferred to workstation and processed MPR and SSD.Results:79 fractures were finding in 42 cases,77 fractures were display with axial images,79 with MPR and 71 with SSD.MPR images were well demonstrated the location and types of fracture;SSD images were clearly demonstrated in 71 cases,The entire morphology of lesions and the relation to surrounding structures could be observed from different views and angles. Conclusion:MPR and SSD images were better more in space relationship, and it is an important guidance for the choice of clinical treatment plans.
