Title: Studies on Antioxidation Effect of Schisandra Chinensis
Abstract: OBJECTIVE To optimize the extraction conditions of Schisandra antioxidant and to analyze the DPPH scavenging ability of Hubei and Liaoning production of Schisandra chinensis extracts. METHODS Based on DPPH free radical scavenging activity of extracts of Schisandra chinensis and using single factor experiment, extracting conditions were optimized through a series of comparative researches on the influences of solvent types, ethanol concentration,solid-liquid ratio, extraction method, extraction time and extraction frequencies. RESULTS The optimal conditions for extracting Schisandra chinensis were as follows: using 60% Et OH as extracting solvent, ultrasonic assisted extraction method,solid-liquid ratio( m / V) was 1g: 30 m L,extraction time 20 min,the sample was extracted 3times and each time for 20 minutes, extraction temperature was room temperature. Under this condition above-mentioned,the DPPH free radical scavenging activity of Schisandra chinensis from Hubei and Liaoning production were detected, the IC50 of which were 3. 79mg·m L- 1and 7. 60mg·m L- 1respectively. CONCLUSION The results achieved show Schisandra extract has strong antioxidation and the DPPH antioxidant activity of Hubei sample is stronger than that of Liaoning one.
