Title: The Clinical Study on Runzaozhiyang Capsule Combined with Epinastine Capsule in the Treatment of Chronic Urticaria with Blood Deficiency and Wind Dryness Syndrome
Abstract: Objective To study the effects of Runzaozhiyang capsule combined with Epinastine capsule on chronic urticaria with blood deficiency and wind dryness syndrome and effects on the serum levels of immunoglobulin E(IgE), interleukin-4(IL-4) and interferon-γ(IFN-γ). Methods A total of 85 patients with chronic urticaria with blood deficiency and wind dryness syndrome were randomly divided into 3 groups, TCM group, western medicine group and TCM combined with western medicine group. The serum levels of IgE, IL-4 and IFN-γ were detected before and after treatment by enzyme-linked immune sorbent assay(ELISA).Results At treatment for 14 days and 28 days, the total effective rate were 29.63% and 77.78%、60.00% and 84%、75.86% and 96.55% respectively in the TCM group, western medicine group, and the TCM combined with western medicine group. At the 14th day, the effects in the TCM combined with western medicine group and the western medicine group were better than that in the TCM group (P0.05). At the 28th day, the effects in the TCM combined with western medicine group were better than that in the TCM group(P0.05). At the 28th day after treatment, the recurrence rate of well-healed cases in the TCM group, western medicine group, and TCM combined with western medicine group were 33.33%, 60% and 31.57% respectively. The recurrence rate in the TCM group, the TCM group and the western medicine group were lower than that in the western medicine group. The side effect rate in the TCM group, western medicine group, and the TCM combined with western medicine group were 21.43%、29.63%、10% respectively. The side effect were lower in the TCM combined with western medicine group than in TCM group and the western medicine group(P0.05). Conclusion Runzaozhiyang capsule combined with Epinastine capsule was better than tablet Runzaozhiyang capsule in treatment of chronic urticaria with blood deficiency and wind dryness syndrome in the total effective rate, and the recurrence rate.
