Abstract:Objective To investigate the method of making model of reduced-size liver orthotopic transplantation in rat.Methods Reduced-size liver orthotropic transplantation was conducted in 120 rats.Infrahepati...Objective To investigate the method of making model of reduced-size liver orthotopic transplantation in rat.Methods Reduced-size liver orthotropic transplantation was conducted in 120 rats.Infrahepatic vena cava and portal vein were anastomosesed by modified two- cuff technique,but suprahapatic vena cava was anastomosesed by continuous suture with just only one stitch.Results All the models were established successfully.After the operation,all the rats could run around and eat freely.Rat′s 2 and 7 days survival rate was 85.8 % and 83.3 % in this group.Conclusions The modified two- cuff technique is practical and stable operative method of reduced-size liver transplantation in rat.Read More
