Abstract:Objective To investigate triptolide induced cell apoptosis in nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC) CNE-1cells.Methods The cytotoxicity of Triptolide to CNE-1 cells was measured by MTT assay;Apoptotic morphol...Objective To investigate triptolide induced cell apoptosis in nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC) CNE-1cells.Methods The cytotoxicity of Triptolide to CNE-1 cells was measured by MTT assay;Apoptotic morphology was observed after Hoechst 33258 staining;Changes of apoptotic related proteins were analyzed by western blot.Results Triptolide exhibited potent cytotoxicity against NPC CNE-1 Cells,and IC50 was 0.029±0.007 μmoL.L-1.After CNE-1 cells were treated with different concentrations of triptolide for 24 h,typical apoptotic bodies and activation of Caspase-3 were detected in a dose-dependent manner.Conclusion Triptolide induced CNE-1 cancer cells apoptosis in a dose-dependent manner,which correlation with caspase-3 activation.Read More
